What You'll Do
* Serve as the primary owner of the company's financial close and reconciliation platform, including administration, reporting, user access, and workflow optimization.
* Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Audit teams to streamline processes and identify automation opportunities.
* Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness.
* Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and key accounting processes.
* Help maintain a strong internal control environment and support compliance initiatives.
* Lead and mentor a small accounting team while helping elevate processes and performance.
* Drive operational improvements that reduce manual effort and improve visibility across the close cycle.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 5+ years of accounting, accounting systems, or financial operations experience.
* Experience with financial close, reconciliations, internal controls, and process improvement.
* Background working with ERP systems and close management or reconciliation software preferred.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to collaborate across both finance and technology teams.
