This role will be based in the Fort Wayne, IN office with potential to work a hybrid schedule after the initial training period.Your impact as an Accounting Operations Specialist:Apply various payments in multiple admin systemsWeekly and monthly carrier payable reporting and paymentsPoint person for internal and external contacts in global regional offices as related to paymentsWork closely with Business Unit to facilitate requests and payment processingRun reports based on need and analyze for action itemsWork with both internal and external clients to resolve discrepanciesWork within the accounting operations team to improve processes by having a thorough understanding of all processesDocument processes and gain thorough understanding of all processes to work within the accounting operations team to evaluate and improve processesEvaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflictsRefund processing and reconciliation in multiple admin systemsCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-levelUtilize analytical tools to identify opportunities for cost savings / efficiency improvementPartner with Business Units, Financial Control, FP&A, and other regional Accounting Operation teams to resolve issues and create transparencyInvolved in projects, audits, and technology enhancement testingSupport Business Units by investigating and resolving ad-hoc payment related inquiriesSkills and experience that will lead to success:1 - 3 years related experienceA self-starter and independent individual, with ability to work in a deadline driven environmentStrong communication skills with all levels of management and is comfortable presenting to business leaders and colleagues internal and externalStrong Customer Service focusA thorough understanding of Excel pivot tables, V-lookups, graphs, functions, links as well as working with external dataAbility to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environmentExcellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesMust have excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracyAbility to take initiative and proactively address potential issuesEducation: Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience.How we support our colleagues:In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. applicants) is $50,000 to $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
