Accounting ManagerChula Vista Resort - Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965OverviewPosition Type Full Time Category AccountingDescriptionACCOUNTING MANAGERPermanent Full Time, year round positionBenefits Package AvailableJob Description:Assist with the monthend closing process: make monthly journal entries, posting accrual entriesPerform account analysis and reconciliations of various accounts (cash, payables, credit cards, intercompany activity)Assist company controller in the preparation of monthly Financial statements (balance sheet & income statements)Assist with maintaining payables for various entities, entering invoices, processing checks and reconcile to vendor statements.Review invoices for proper reporting of sales tax and use taxPreparing smaller entities sales & use tax returnsMaintain fixed assets ledger, including monthly entries & reconciliation to general ledgerPrepare payroll for one of the smaller companies and keep employee recordsPrepare 1099sAssist with preparation of various financial documents for the annual corporate auditPrepare all other duties deemed appropriate by the controllerQualificationsQualifications:Prefer an Associates degree and at least 10+ years experienceMust be proficient with Quickbooks, Excel and Word.Need strong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and effectively communicate with all levels of managementMeet deadlines for timesensitive activitiesMust be comfortable managing multiple prioritiesMaintain a cooperative working relationship with guests and the entire staffMust be able to maintain confidentiality over all written record and oral communicationsWork in a positive work environment; wake up wanting to come to work.
