Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general accounting and accounts payable.
    • Support monthly close activities and preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements.
    • Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial transaction processing.
    • Perform financial and fluctuation analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
    • Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Support audits, tax filings, grant reconciliations, and patient revenue accounting.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Prior management or supervisory accounting experience.
    • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within nonprofit or healthcare.
    • Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise; CPA preferred.
