$150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Accounting Manager – Technical (VA/DC Metro)

A high-growth energy infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to focus on technical accounting and policy development . The ideal candidate has a CPA , strong Big 4 or public company background , and enjoys tackling complex accounting matters and building internal frameworks in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Highlights:

  • Focus on technical accounting, US GAAP research , and implementation of new standards
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and external auditors
  • Work on complex transactions and support financial reporting
  • Contribute to developing policies and processes for a growing organization

Requirements:

  • CPA required
  • 4+ years in technical accounting or accounting policy (Big 4/public co. exp.)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP , financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Ability to write memos, build models, and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Experience with derivatives, equity, and large-scale project accounting a plus
