Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Serve as a hands-on leader, providing guidance to the accounting team while actively supporting daily transactional activities
• Oversee customer billing processes, ensuring invoice accuracy and resolving billing discrepancies, credits, and adjustments
• Manage cash application activities, including payment posting, account reconciliation, banking transactions, and customer payment setups
• Review and approve vendor payment recommendations while maintaining strong controls over disbursements
• Lead general ledger activities, including account reconciliations, month-end close support, and preparation of financial reporting packages
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to research transactions, resolve issues, and improve accounting processes

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management
• Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff and managing month-end close activities
