Title: Accounting Manager

Salary Range: $130k - $155k + annual bonus
Our client, a growing and established organization, is seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial management of multiple business units. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, managing month-end close activities, and providing leadership to the accounting function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, billing, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain financial data integrity across multiple entities and business operations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures
- Partner with leadership to support operational and financial objectives
- Provide guidance and leadership to accounting team members
Qualifications
- Experience managing accounting processes within a multi-entity or operationally complex environment
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual accounting
- Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements is a plus
