Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger oversight and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closesEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX internal controls, and applicable industry regulationsPrepare financial reporting packages and provide insights to leadership teamsCollaborate with operations, tax, treasury, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reportingDrive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen accounting controls and efficiencies
YOU HAVE...
Expertise in accounting leadership, financial reporting, and month-end close processes5+ years of progressive accounting experience within the energy industryStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX complianceExperience managing general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparationBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive CPA designation required
EXTRA CREDIT...
Experience within oil & gas, utilities, power generation, renewable energy, or energy trading environmentsExperience with NetSuite, SAP, Allegro, or similar ERP/energy platformsStrong technical accounting expertise and experience with intercompany allocationsPrior leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
