To support a growing CPA firm, the full-time Accounting & Tax Manager will oversee monthly accounting processes, guide tax engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of small business clients in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Lead and supervise monthly accounting and tax processes while serving as the primary point of contact for client communication and strategic planning Ensure timely and accurate financials and tax filings, identifying opportunities to add value beyond compliance Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build a strong bench of future leaders Required qualifications A CPA or EA credential is preferred, or equivalent experience managing tax and accounting engagements At least five years of public accounting experience, ideally in a client-facing role Strong grasp of GAAP, tax compliance, and advisory-level client service Demonstrated experience leading teams and mentoring staff Proficiency in cloud-based accounting environments, including platforms such as QuickBooks Online and Xero
