Our client in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead full-cycle A/P and A/R operations across a complex, multi-entity environment. This role is primarily remote with occasional onsite needs.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Oversee both internal staff and an outsourced transactional accounting team
✔ Lead billing, collections, cash application, invoicing, and vendor payment processes
✔ Manage monthly close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
✔ Improve accounting policies, credit/collections procedures, and cash flow management
✔ Support audits and collaborate closely with plant controllers & cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience in complex or manufacturing environments is a plus
