Our client in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead full-cycle A/P and A/R operations across a complex, multi-entity environment. This role is primarily remote with occasional onsite needs.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee both internal staff and an outsourced transactional accounting team
Lead billing, collections, cash application, invoicing, and vendor payment processes
Manage monthly close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
Improve accounting policies, credit/collections procedures, and cash flow management
Support audits and collaborate closely with plant controllers & cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience in complex or manufacturing environments is a plus
