The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a passion for process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payrollPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processesManage and mentor a team of accountants and accounting staffMaintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresCoordinate with external auditors and assist with audits and tax filingsAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-makingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingProficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to lead a team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment$90,000 - $120,000 a year
