Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of general ledger and inventory accounting. You’ll play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including full-scope general ledger (GL) activities.
- Manage and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Lead inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows and reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven management/supervisory experience in an accounting or finance setting.
- Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with inventory accounting .
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
