We are driven by our vision of a world in which electricity is no longer a luxury good, and we are looking for talented, driven individuals to help us light the world with cleaner, more affordable energy solutions.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes with Corporate Accounting team, ensuring that all transactions flow into the US GAAP Parent's financial statements in a timely manner; consists of data reconciliation between systemsPerform variance investigation and analysis, including correction of errors, mainly but not exclusively for intercompany eliminations on an ongoing basisWill be responsible for administering and documenting intercompany processes for consistency across divisions, creating efficiency in reconciliationBuild partnerships with functional groups and stakeholders to ensure transparency, integrity of analysis, and a common understanding of the underlying driversOversight of any changes in the corporate structure, which may impact the consolidation; includes analysis and adjustments, working with the Legal and Tax teamsServe as the centralized accounting liaison for local teams in Brazil and Mexico in connection with chart of accounts mapping to Global structure; completing reconciliation and maintenance oftenMaintain data integrity by supporting the master data analytical team in developing templates, standards, processes, and documentation for the Oracle platform and integrated systemsWorks to monitor and maintain the consolidations and internal reporting processes for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsOther responsibilities as assigned by the CompanyQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred6–9 years of relevant experience in accounting; ideally a mix of public accounting and corporate accountingPublic company experience with strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and the financial close processDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilitiesComfortable working independently while actively contributing to team goalsClear and confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance and business partnersMotivated to make an impact, lead others, and be a part of a highly engaged, fast-paced accounting organizationJob InfoJob Identification 1169Job Category Accountants and AuditorsLocations 111 W 19th Street, New York, NY, 10011, US
