Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls. This role will ensure accurate financial records, support management with financial analysis, and provide leadership to the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and account reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results, budgets, and variances and provide insights to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax-related activities.
• Maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
• Supervise, train, and support accounting staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA eligibility.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff.
• Industry experience in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, construction, healthcare, or another relevant field.
