Accounting ManagerOur client is a company in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 7+ years of accounting experience, strong technical accounting experience, and who is flexible! This role is hybrid.The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Lead and actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare and review accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedulesIdentify opportunities to improve close efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processesEnsure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controlsPartner closely with production and operational leadership to support business performanceAssist with cost accounting activities, inventory analysis, and manufacturing-related financial reportingAnalyze operational results and provide insights to support decision-makingSupport continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and operationsServe as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain accounting processes, policies, and internal controlsSupport compliance initiatives and ensure strong financial governance practicesAssist with technical accounting research and implementation as neededSupport acquisition accounting activities and post-acquisition integration effortsHelp build scalable accounting infrastructure to support continued company growthParticipate in system and process enhancement projectsContribute to the development and future growth of the accounting teamThe Accounting Manager will possess the following:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.7+ years of accounting experience.Strong technical accounting background preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.CPA certification preferredEqual Opportunity Employer
