Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee a small team. This is a highly visible role offering broad exposure to financial reporting, inventory, fixed assets, budgeting, and operational finance in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Oversee inventory and fixed asset accounting
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and business insights
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Prior accounting management experience required
- Manufacturing or Manufacturing adjacent industry accounting experience preferred including inventory and fixed assets
- Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical skills
- Experience with payroll, 401(k) administration, tax, or foreign currency transactions is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
