Accounting Manager

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
• Manufacturing or production accounting experience
• Experience with audits and state/federal tax activities
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with financial reporting systems (Oracle preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive manufacturing experience
• CPA designation
• Power BI experience
• Concur experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for production accounting operations
• Manage daily accounting activities and oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Lead high-volume accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, cost of goods sold, and general ledger accounting functions
• Support treasury operations, including cash applications and dispute management
• Prepare financial reporting packages and maintain compliance documentation
• Support tax preparation and filing activities
• Assist with external financial audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across accounting functions
• Develop and mentor accounting team members
• Partner with leadership on departmental and company KPI initiatives
