Accounting ManagerThe Staff Pad is proud to partner with a trusted, family-owned wholesale distributor serving the low-voltage security industry in Earth City, MO, to find an experienced Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic accounting leader to oversee core financial operations, drive process improvements, and help scale a high-performing finance function while leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain. Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid | 3-4 days in officeWhat You'll Do Key Responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reportingMaintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policiesOversee AP and AR, including billing, cash application, and vendor paymentsMonitor and improve working capital metrics, including DSO, DPO, and cash conversion cycleServe as the accounting lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, optimizing system usage, workflows, and reportingMaintain strong internal controls and ensure audit readinessDrive process improvements & build scalable accounting operations to support company growthLead, mentor, and develop the accounting, AP, and AR teamsPartner cross-functionally with leadership, finance, operations, and ITWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceActive CPA license8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilitiesExperience managing general ledger, financial close, AP and AR functionsHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP, audits, and internal controlsWhat You Can Expect:Work Environment and Physical Demands:Standard office setting with occasional branch visitsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallySome travel and occasional evening/weekend work required (<10%)Benefits:Competitive CompensationComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefitsSEP Program – 100% of the contribution towards eligible employee retirementCareer Advancement, Profit Sharing and Training with exceptional and continued educationIf you're a collaborative accounting leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization, we'd love to hear from you.
