Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month end close activities in a high volume sales environment.
• Manage revenue recognition, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple sales channels and customer platforms.
• Monitor inventory activity, cost allocations, product profitability, and inventory controls to support accurate financial records.
• Maintain and optimize accounting system integrations while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of transactional data.
• Train and support accounting staff while implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and experience working with accounting software integrations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management functions.
• Previous experience managing month end close processes, financial statement preparation, and accounting controls.

• Prior experience in e-commerce, multi channel sales, retail, distribution, or other high transaction volume environments.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, product margin analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies.
• Familiarity with sales tax compliance, payment processors, third party sales platforms, and logistics providers.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Self motivated and detail oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions focused mindset.
