Accounting ManagerSeven Oaks Search is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvements while leading a team within a dynamic healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with healthcare financial regulations.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and key stakeholders.Analyze financial data and trends to support operational and strategic decisions.Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and processes.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions within a healthcare setting.Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts and financial records.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain financial integrity and compliance with industry standards.Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.Provide insights and recommendations to support financial planning and cost containment in a healthcare environment.Ensure compliance with GAAP, healthcare financial regulations, and internal policies.Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial assets.Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Identify and recommend process improvements tailored to the healthcare sector.Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting financial operations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Experience in the healthcare industry or a highly regulated environment preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare financial regulations, and compliance requirements.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Working ConditionsFull-time position with standard office hours.May require occasional overtime or travel, depending on business needs.
