Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:
• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to drive informed business decisions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory standards
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve financial processes and controls
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 6+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, and advanced Excel skills
• Proven leadership ability, strong problem-solving skills, and a process-improvement mindset
