Accounting ManagerWe are seeking a contribution minded Accounting Manager who will be responsible for managing inventory, general accounting support for the Environmental and Industrial Services segment, ad-hoc tasks and special projects. The Accounting Manager utilizes broad accounting knowledge to contribute across multiple lines of business.

The knowledge and experience provided by this position create an excellent platform for continued career growth.ResponsibilitiesTimely and accurately completes all assigned tasks necessary for the general ledger close at each period-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycleEnsures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactionsEnsure proper accounting and valuation of inventoriesReview financial reports and prepare analysesEnsure timely internal reporting and development of comprehensive reporting package to the executive teamTimely preparation and review of assigned balance sheet account reconciliationsMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepanciesManage 1-2 profession associatesAssistance with various financial reporting deliverablesCompilation of inventory values and analysis of inventory changes including regular communication with those personnel in the field that are responsible for the physical inventory countsMaintain compliance and documentation of internal controlsCollaboration with external auditors regarding Company's annual auditAnalysis of business trends and communication with product managers and other business leaders regarding financial performance on various components of the CompanyDevelopment and implementation of process improvements with the goal of reducing the time to close the books while maintaining high quality and accuracyTimely completion of ad-hoc project work, as assignedPosition Qualification RequirementsCapability to conform to established schedules and deadlinesAbility to read and comprehend detailed financial statementsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.Present a positive image of the Company to fellow employees, external contacts, the general publicApproximately 5-10 years of combined work experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, or similar fieldsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferredSpecific SkillsStrong foundation in US GAAP accountingThe ability and desire to be a team player is crucialAbility to grasp new concepts quicklyBusiness analytics and problem-solving abilitiesEffective leadership, mentoring, and supervisory skillsHighly proficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient other Microsoft Office applicationsNetSuite experience a plusNetSuite Planning and Budgeting experience a plusCoupa experience a plusStrong written and oral communication skills are mandatoryCompensation: $132,000.00 - $137,500.00 per year
