We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and support the organization's financial goals. Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000

Overview of the Accounting Manager Role:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and organizational policies
• Coordinate audit preparation and work closely with external auditors
• Partner with leadership and department managers on budgeting and financial planning
• Monitor financial activity and provide insights into trends, variances, and opportunities
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Ensure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations
• Support process improvements and help strengthen the organization's accounting and financial procedures

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting experience
• Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes
• Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
