Accounting Manager / Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $135,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing accounting tasks, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger (G/L) management.
• Prepare and monitor budgets to analyze profitability and financial performance.
• Assist with employee benefits, retirement plans, banking, insurance, and taxation matters.
• Oversee external financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise a team of three employees, providing guidance and support.

• Demonstrate at least 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Work independently while effectively collaborating with teams and leadership.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.
• Apply intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounting functions.

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Possess a deep understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support financial decision-making.
• Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills to supervise staff effectively.
• Adapt to evolving accounting practices and industry best practices.
