Our client has a strong reputation in the industry and built a loyal customer base. Leadership is seeking a true partner who can provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and help position the company for long-term success.
As the Accounting Manager/Controller you have full financial oversight and responsibility, manage budget/forecasting/cash flow, ensure proper financial reporting, lead a small team, and help guide long-term strategic decisions.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to partner directly with ownership, and play a critical role in strengthening processes, improving reporting, and enhancing controls.

Targeting up to $125K Base (depending on experience) with Bonus Potential!

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of financials, financial reporting and preparation
- Manage and improve the monthly close process and related deliverables
- Assist in developing a disciplined and timely accounting function
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting
- Analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting
- Inventory and costing (standard) oversight
- Assist with audit preparation and financial controls enhancements
- Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing, insurance requirements
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency
Desired Background
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience managing month-end close activities and financial statement preparation
- Prior experience with Manufacturing/Construction/Project Accounting – plus, not required
- Prior experience in small companies that required hands-on experience
