Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 Base Salary + Great Benefits

We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the Circleville, Ohio area to identify an experienced Accounting Manager . This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements across the finance function.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, proven leadership experience, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with business leaders to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and accountability
• Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to senior leadership
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Partner with operations and business leaders to drive financial performance and reporting accuracy
• Assist with special projects, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience managing month-end close and audit processes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across the organization
