Overview of the role:
- Manage corporate allocations, intercompany transactions, prepaid insurance and other insurance allocations
- Assist with ad hoc projects
- Maintain corporate accruals, manage internal reporting, leases, corporate general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate with other accountants in other offices
- Lead month-end close and consolidations
- Analyze monthly results and ensuring all adjusting journal entries are complete
- Assist in various other projects and corporate financial initiatives including mergers & acquisitions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,or business
- CPA is a plus
- Public accounting background would be highly desirable but not required
- 5 + years experience
- Experience in a financial services would be a plus
- Would consider someone straight public (big4/top 10 firm)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and willingness to learn
