DescriptionKforce's client, a growing life sciences organization located in Burlington, MA area, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, FP&A, and eventually through an ERP implementation. This full-time on-site role is a high-visibility opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership across multiple areas of Finance as right hand to CFO/ Controller. Client offers excellent compensation and benefits.Responsibilities:* Lead monthly and quarterly close activities* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements* Support tax provisions, compliance, audits, and external advisors* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis* Support ERP implementation, data migration, testing, and process improvements* Partner with Finance, IT, and operational teamsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field* CPA or CPA candidate preferred* 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience* Strong general-ledger and full-cycle close experience* Prior Life Sciences, Pharma or Biotech industry client base or experience strongly preferred.* Advanced Excel and strong U.S.
