We have partnered with a highly respected and established non-profit organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Accounting & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys managing people while staying involved in the day-to-day accounting work.

Reporting to the Controller with visibility to the CFO and other executive leadership, the Accounting Manager will oversee a team of 3–4 staff members and help lead core accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, audit support, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly close and support year-end close activities
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 3–4 accounting professionals
- Support audit preparation, compliance reporting, and regulatory filings
- Strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and maintain accounting procedures
- Partner cross-functionally on finance and operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2–3+ years of supervisory experience required
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting background
- Non-profit accounting experience preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Public accounting experience from a large or regional firm strongly preferred
