$100,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
Focus Search LLC is recruiting for an Accounting Manager role for a large manufacturing company with offices in Atlanta, GA. This role will serve as a project manager overseeing multiple divisional general ledgers, ensuring accurate consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting, and supporting timely close processes. This role involves financial and cost analysis, operational reviews, journal entry and account review, and implementing process improvements. The position partners closely with finance leadership to enhance reporting and efficiency, requiring strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a project manager overseeing multiple divisional general ledgers and ensuring accurate consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting
- Support timely close processes
- Conduct financial and cost analysis and perform operational reviews
- Oversee journal entries and account reviews
- Implement process improvements and partner with finance leadership to enhance reporting and efficiency
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- CPA preferred
