Accounting/Finance - Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystPay Rate: 45/hr. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm Location: Framingham, MA Hybrid: 3 days in officeEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Build and sustain finance expenses and reporting modelsEngage with upper management as a strong business partnerProvide direct support for the director of Global FinanceSupport multiple global functions including R&D, Quality, Marketing, Program Management and G&AExhibit strong business insight with a desire and ability to understand the businessPartner with senior management on resource and planning needsIdentify and drive operational improvements across the Finance and Accounting organizationDrive expense variance analysis and provide partnership to global functional leaders to execute on planAnalyze historical, current, and projected financial data for use in planning, forecasting, and management decision makingPerform in-depth financial & operational analysis and quarterly/annual forecast modelingPrepare, analyze and distribute functional and internal management reportsResponsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end FP&A close activitiesPartner closely with Director of FP&A to drive annual planning processStreamline monthly financial forecasting updates and annual planning changes loading into HFMUnderstand standard accounting principles and policy and interact with accounting and financial partnersConduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the business and senior managementEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience3+ years of proven experience in FP&A – FinanceExperience with HFM, Hyperion, Essbase planning, Power BI, Oracle ERPStrong financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient Excel capabilitiesEffectively communicate and present financial dataCollaborate with leadershipNatural bias towards continuous improvementAdditional Requirements:Learn and participate in the company's continuous improvement cultureSupport daily management activities and participate in team-based process improvement projectsHighly scalable with initiative and resourcefulness to complete work assignments in a changing environmentAbility to interface with all levels of staff
