Who we're looking for
We're looking for experienced accounting professionals, not necessarily AI researchers.
You should have:
3+ years of professional experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or a related field
Strong accounting and analytical reasoning skills
Experience working with real-world financial information
Ability to evaluate accounting analysis and conclusions critically
Strong attention to detail
Ability to identify accounting errors, inconsistencies, and unsupported assumptions
Strong professional judgment
Ability to clearly explain why an accounting treatment or conclusion is correct or incorrect
Experience with any of the following is valuable:
Financial accounting
Management accounting
Auditing
Financial reporting
Tax accounting
Cost accounting
Corporate accounting
Revenue recognition
Account reconciliations
Accounting standards and compliance
CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification
You do not need prior experience working in AI.
What matters most is that you know how to do accounting work well.
You might be asked to:
Review an AI-generated accounting analysis and identify the issues.
Evaluate whether a journal entry or accounting treatment is correct.
Review financial statements and determine whether the accounting conclusions are accurate.
Assess whether an AI-generated reconciliation correctly identifies discrepancies.
Compare two AI-generated accounting solutions and determine which is stronger.
Evaluate an AI-generated financial reporting analysis.
Analyze a realistic accounting scenario and explain your reasoning.
Identify accounting errors, inconsistencies, or unsupported conclusions.
Create challenging accounting problems that can be used to evaluate AI systems.
The goal is not simply to determine whether accounting work looks reasonable.
The goal is to capture the judgment an experienced accounting professional uses to determine whether accounting work actually makes sense.

Review financial statements
Identify accounting errors
Perform and assess reconciliations
