Accounting CoordinatorThe Finance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support within the realm of accounting. This includes adeptly managing tasks such as invoice processing and maintaining meticulously organized payable lists. A keen diligence is imperative to facilitate seamless operations in all accounting processes.Job Responsibilities & DutiesInclude but are not limited to:Performing and reviewing debit and credit reconciliations with the ability to resolve variancesPost daily journal entries to Sage Quantum 50Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of financial documentsAssist Finance Team with coding of receipts and disbursementsReconcile cash receipts and disbursementsMaintain and audit sales reports, parking sales, and exhibitor deposits for eventsCorrectly code and process invoices to send to Corporate Accounts PayableSupport venue employees with purchasing system including guidance with vendor information, coding, receiving, etc.Assist in tracking and managing expensesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, and updating ledgersManage various administrative duties related to the finance departmentAssist and be on site for all major events to help ensure before, during, and after the event is executed seamlesslyAssist in Balance Sheet ReconciliationsAssist in Food & Beverage AccountingAssist Food & Beverage with inventory tracking / keyingAssist the Director of Finance in special projects as requiredWorking with Finance team and various department heads to meet reporting and budgeting needsSkills Required:Proficient in Sage, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other relevant toolsOrganizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilitiesAttention To Detail Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail in handling records and documentationConfidentiality Skills: Ability to manage sensitive information with discretionProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve basic issuesCommunication skills: Efficient communication skills, both written and verbalTeam Player: Capable of collaborating with the accounting team and other departmentQualifications:Can multi-task under extreme deadline pressure in a demanding environmentThorough knowledge of financial and cost accountingDemonstrate excellent math skills and be meticulousDemonstrate knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software and be willing to learn and use accounting and financial reporting softwareAbility to input data into a computer to record sales transactionsMust have a professional attitude and appearanceAbility to listen, follow instructions and ask for clarificationAbility to respond well to questionsDemonstrate good interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to interact with all levels of staff including management and clientsAbility to read and interpret written informationExhibit good critical thinking skills and organizational abilityAbility to work independently and as a member of the teamAbility to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays, as neededRequired to be subject to a credit check and a background screeningEducation and/or Experience:Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
