Accounting Clerk – Contract to Hire OpportunityA growing organization is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to support transactional accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and maintaining accurate financial records in a structured environment.Core ResponsibilitiesExecute three-way matching procedures to verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving recordsAssist with processing vendor invoices and supporting accounts payable workflowsReview financial documentation to ensure accuracy and proper authorizationInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with purchasing and warehouse teamsSupport general ledger functions through reconciliations and documentation preparationMaintain accurate vendor records and filing systemsProvide administrative and accounting support to meet operational deadlinesRequirementsAt least 3 years of accounting clerk or related accounting support experienceFamiliarity with purchasing processes and invoice validation proceduresStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Excel and accounting software systemsAbility to work onsite daily in VernonPay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hourSearch managed by: Allison LauBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
