The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting functions and with exposure to the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry.Schedule:Monday through Friday8AM to 5PMLooking for someone who has worked on the SS Lines service contracts, customer quotes and customer billing.Key Responsibilities:Review customer contracts to ensure completeness and accuracyWork with sales team, customer success team, and external customersPrepare and review customer invoicesUpdate CRM systemProcess credit card paymentsApply cash receipts to customer accountsAssist with processing commissionsAssist in providing audit support for revenue transactionsResearch and resolve billing issuesProcess customer documents to facilitate payments (w-9, purchase orders, etc.)Follow up with customers regarding outstanding paymentsSupport various special projects as requiredDesired Skills and Qualifications:3-5 years of accounting experienceProficiency in Excel and other computer programsFamiliarity with QuickBooks OR NetSuiteDetail-orientation, organizational skills and a strong work ethicThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environmentExcellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communicationPay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Are you proficient in QuickBooks OR NetSuite?
