Job Title: Accounting Associate III

Schedule: Monday - Friday ( 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Central Time Zone with 1 hour lunch break (Lunch: 1-hour unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed accounting reconciliations monthly
- Assist with month end journal entries: account for inventory, pending invoices, intercompany transactions, etc.
- Partner with Operations and communicate complex financial themes in a succinct manner
- Maintain accurate standard costing to reflect true product profitability
- Financial analysis or costs and profitability trends

Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in Cost Accounting or related accounting functions in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and SOX compliance.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as UMS and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV) preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP and/or in the food service or distribution industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
