Accounting AssociateNextGen Security, LLCCorporate (Exton, PA)Security Integration and SurveillanceFull-time EmployeeEntry Level to Experienced (Non-Manager)ExemptWhat We're Looking For:An energetic, enthusiastic Accounting Associate to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.What You'll Be Doing:As an Accounting Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our accounts payable operations while gaining exposure to other areas of accounting. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to grow their career in accounting. While the primary focus will be accounts payable, you'll also have opportunities to assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and other accounting projects as your experience grows.The standard work hours for this position are 8:30 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in our corporate office in Exton, PA. Hybrid options are available after completing 90 days of employment.This position is one we hold in high regard to providing the level of service excellence our customers expect and deserve. Specific duties to include:Process purchase order and job-related invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding to jobs, general ledger accounts, and cost centers.Review invoices for payment terms and discount opportunities to maximize early payment savings.Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies related to payments, billings, and account balances.Manage vendor inquiries and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to resolve issues efficiently.Maintain organized vendor files and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.Support daily accounts payable automation processes to ensure invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.Assist with month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation as needed.Support the accounting team with general ledger-related activities and other accounting projects.Assist with reporting and other accounting functions as assigned.What You Bring To The Table:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.0-2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, finance, banking, or another business-related role.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Professional communication skills and customer service mindset.A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities.Commitment to integrity, accountability, and company standards.What We Bring To The Table:An awesome, collaborative cultureCompensation based upon background and experienceFull benefits packageVacationCellphone AllowanceWe are an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
