Accounting and HR Clerk

HR AccountantThis role will operate as a Liaison for the Accounting team, as well as the organization as a whole. The HR Accountant will manage the onboarding process for new employees, while having a pulse of all aspects of the accounting team. The HR Accountant will provide support to the Team, ensure KPI compliance, and assist with all onboarding and HR responsibilities.

The HR Accountant will assist the accounting team with AR, PR, Collections, and recording/documenting, as well as perform typical HR tasks.Basic Requirements:Associates Degree or Trade School diploma in Accounting – preferred but not requiredExperience with QuickBooks software highly desiredProfessional acumenExcellent administrative and process skillsAdvanced Excel knowledge and ability to create and review complex spreadsheetsIntermediate level working knowledge with Microsoft WordAble to work to meet deadlines independently with changing prioritiesPays close attention to detail with excellent proofreading skillsConstruction accounting familiarity is helpfulKey SkillsHighly OrganizedAccuracyAbility to multi-task and prioritizeHigh level CommunicatorEvaluated On:Accuracy and attention to detailEfficiencyHitting quarterly goalsPeer reviewVision, Mission, Values, and Serving BasicsOverall Duties Include:Ensure compliance regarding HR policies and proceduresManage onboarding process including ordering background checks, paperwork completion and benefits administrationAnswer HR questions and field others to the appropriate partyMaintaining new and existing Vendor Compliance documentationJob ClosingsRecording credit card receipts in QuickBooks via ExpensifyRecording bills and invoices in QuickBooks and RMS as an Accounts Payable FunctionPreparing 1099'sRecording customer deposits, applications & collectionsHours:Full time Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm and based at Paul Davis office (flexible to work earlier or later shift between 7:00am-6:00pm).Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearSince 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling.
