MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Accounting Department as a full-time Accounting Analyst. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, McDonough, and Marshall counties. nnWe are currently accepting applications/resumes for an Accounting Analyst to support the Bank's accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, regulatory reporting, and budgeting processes. This position plays an integral role in maintaining the Bank's financial records, preparing reports for management and the Board of Directors, supporting audits and examinations, and assisting with key financial planning activities.n nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities: n

• Support the Bank's accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
n
• Manage cash flow activities, account reconciliations, and investment portfolio accounting functions.
n
• Prepare regulatory filings, Call Reports, management reports, and Board reports.
n
• Process accounts payable, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and assist with audits and regulatory examinations.
n
• Maintain correspondent bank relationships and support accounting-related training and operational processes.
n

nQualifications and Requirements: n

n
• nMinimum of two years of accounting experience required.n
n
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
n
• nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.n
n
• nProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and financial reporting systems.n
n
