AccountantWe're looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, with exposure to digital asset accounting, banking operations, and international consolidation processes.You'll play a key role in helping maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders globally. The role requires regular, in-person work at our Santa Monica office.Telcoin is a start-up fintech provider utilizing blockchain technology to deliver cutting-edge financial products and services. Telcoin is expanding rapidly and currently operates in numerous countries with the ambition to launch in many more. As part of our expansion, we are now seeking to hire a US-based Accountant.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities and currenciesPerform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activitiesReconcile bank and digital asset accounts and investigate variancesSupport intercompany transactions, eliminations, and global consolidationsProcess vendor invoices and assist in accounts payable as neededPrepare and review financial data for internal reporting and external auditsMaintain accurate documentation for accounting policies, transactions, and audit trailsAssist in developing and improving accounting workflows and controlsCollaborate with internal teams (Legal, HR, Operations etc.) and external vendors across jurisdictionsProvide support for ad hoc projects, analyses, and process improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward CPA a plus)3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience (corporate or public); experience in multi-entity or international environments preferredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, with working knowledge of monthly close, account reconciliations, and audit preparationProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.); experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks is a plusAbility to analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues independentlyHighly organized with strong attention to detail and time managementStrong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and cross-border collaborationInterest or experience in digital asset/crypto accounting, banking operations, or fintech is a plusSpanish language skills are a plus (due to collaboration with Telcoin Mexico)What We OfferCompetitive compensation package, including annual bonus and stock option planMedical, dental, and vision insurance – 100% employer-sponsored for employee and family401(k) plan with no waiting periodUnlimited PTO to support work/life balanceGlobal exposure across fintech and digital assetsOpportunity to build skills in crypto, banking, and international financeDynamic, entrepreneurial environment with room to grow
