nPosition Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely bill payments for all of Wishope Recovery's programs. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is crucial in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organization.
nKey Responsibilities:
nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all of Wishope Recovery's programs.
nProcess and manage accounts payable, including receiving, verifying, and paying invoices.
nReconcile bank statements and financial transactions regularly to ensure accuracy.
nMonitor cash flow and prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
nAssist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
nEnsure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
nPrepare and submit required financial documentation for grants and funding reports.
nHandle payroll processing and related tax filings.
nProvide financial support and guidance to the CEO.
nAssist with annual audits and coordinate with external CPA/auditors as needed.
nMaintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
nQualifications:
nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
nMinimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
nProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.
nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.
nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
