AccountantVirginia Beach, Virginia - Posted on July 7, 2026 Published By Jennifer AndrewsTrillium Staffing is now hiring an Accountant in Virginia Beach VA!This is a direct hire position offering a starting salary of $80-90,000 with the possibility of relocation.Responsibilities and Activities:Perform month-end close activities to complete close in a timely and accurate mannerPerform monthly reconciliations including researching and resolving itemsOrganize, update and secure financial records and documentationPrepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsReview and analyze financial statements for accuracy and explanationsPrepares complex data-driven accounting analyses, estimates, and journal entriesSupport Payroll processing bi-monthly as neededPrepare various tax and licensing forms and renewalsMaintains Fixed Assets schedules and depreciationAssist with wiring of Loan Fund wires as neededAssist with preparation and submission of tax items for external tax preparersAssist with Audit tasks and inquiries in a timely, accurate mannerMaintain financial security by following internal accounting controlsContribute to our small team with a willingness to help with all activities including paying bills, filing, copying, customer service, etc. as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting requiredMinimum two years' experience in accounting or a related field with strong mathematical and analytical skillsProficient/Advanced in Microsoft ExcelProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and analyze financial reportsEffective oral and written communication skills neededAbility to meet deadlines and multi-task in high-energy, fast-paced environment and work independentlyAttention to detail is criticalTeam player to achieve Company and Department goalsApply today!Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
