AccountantLocation: Sturtevant, WI Pay Rate: $25/HR Schedule would be regular office hours M-F, 8:30-5; with some flexibility Fully onsiteKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the fixed asset subledger, including additions and disposalsRecord and reconcile capital expenditures (CapEx) to the general ledgerAssist in capital project tracking and capitalization of completed projectsPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger updatesCalculate and analyze cost variances (purchase price, production, usage, absorption)Assist with monthly inventory close, including journal entries and reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issuesAssist in preparing financial statements and internal reportsSupport audits by gathering documentation and responding to auditor requestsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis as neededParticipate in system cleanups, process improvements, or special projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–5+ years of accounting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.)Experience with SAP preferred
