Accountant Job in Stevens Point
A regional manufacturing/construction company is looking to add a new Accountant to their team. This position will have high level exposure and be heavily-involved in decision making. The company is very flexible with schedules and stands by their family-feel environment in terms of hours worked.
Job Duties:
- Partner with President on month/year end close procedures
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting procedures
- AR and AP reconciliations
- Assist with department goal setting
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
- Provide support for other accounting functions when needed
Job Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- 1+ years accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solving and process improvement mindset
