Responsibilities:
- Assist the CFO in preparing monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Close out all monthly accounting periods, including Bank Recs, Sales Tax Returns and all recurring Journal Entries.
- Prepare and analyze the Work-in-Progress (WIP) report to determine actual project profitability vs. budget.
- Analyze budget-to-actual costs, ensuring accurate job costing for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Work with the Payroll Manager to produce accurate payroll reports.
- 2-5+ years of construction accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
