Managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance, the full-time Accountant will prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and oversee accounts payable and receivable while working onsite at either the Rosecrance Jackson Recovery Center or RMG-Chicagoland with a flexible remote option for the last two weeks of the month. Key responsibilities: Prepare, post, and upload journal entries, reconcile accounts, and calculate accrued expenses for month-end closing Review and ensure journal entries comply with GAAP and maintain accurate financial records Prepare monthly fee-for-service and grant utilization reports, analyzing trends and offering feedback for improvements Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field Demonstrated experience with general accounting procedures or equivalent education and training Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Commitment to the mission and vision of the organization
