Please review the job description below:Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly reconciliationsReview and reconcile month-end data warehouse reports for respective journal entriesReconcile financial information provided by business partners in support of monthly JVsPrepare and support monthly variance reports and various other internal reports (streamlining processes/process improvement, automating processes)Assist in completing various special projects as requested by managementPrepare schedules supporting the year-end audit/regulatory audits and tax reportingKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Must Haves: 3-5+ years of experience in GL accountingBA or BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration OR related experienceStrong communicatorCritical thinkerSelf-motivatedTeam playerOrganizedAbility to multi-taskDetail orientedPositive attitudeComfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, and changing environmentStrong Excel user (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)Strong MS Office skillsPreferred/ Nice-to-haves: CPABig 4 or public accounting experiencePeopleSoft experienceHFM experienceOur client is a leading Banking & Financial Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
