A manufacturing company in Plainfield is seeking an Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee AP, AR, inventory accounting, and cash management activities.
• Process payroll through QuickBooks and/or ADP.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and month-end close.
• Experience with AP, AR, inventory, and payroll.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop required.
• Ability to thrive in a small-company environment.

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
