This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries and reconciliationsPrepare and maintain financial reports and records in compliance with GAAPAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsMaintain and reconcile bank accounts and other financial statementsAssist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysisHelp with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with internal accounting policies and proceduresWork closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reportingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of professional accounting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principlesHigh attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills$70,000 - $90,000 a year
